Groundcheck has been selected by TSE Group as a trusted geotechnical drilling service provider for their proposed bio gas plant project, which is located remotely within the client’s palm oil plant area. The project requires extensive soil investigation and testing to determine the most suitable area for bio gas development, as well as to provide a basis for pile design data.

To accomplish this, Groundcheck has conducted drilling 15 geotechnical testing and soil laboratory testing activities. These boreholes have provided crucial data on the site’s soil stratum, including the depth and thickness of soil layers, as well as their characteristics, such as their strength, stiffness, and consolidation parameter. This information is essential for determining the most appropriate foundation design for the bio gas plant, which will ensure its stability.

One of the major challenges of this project has been the remote location of the site. Conducting field work in a remote area requires careful planning, specialized equipment, and experienced personnel. Groundcheck’s team of experts has been able to overcome this challenge by utilizing their extensive experience in conducting geotechnical drilling projects in remote areas.
